Summer 2024Finally there is something to report again. The new album is in the final mixing stage and is therefore almost finished. We are very happy to present you the successful conclusion of our Opium trilogy. Love Madness Death will be released next year as a CD and digital download. As little foretaste we want to tell that much: We are happy to welcome many visitors from foreign countries on our homepage, because of that, we are working on an English version. Together with this actualization we are going to publish further information about our band and our albums. Furthermore we are going to start the shooting for our first music video, soon. The script is roughly planned, now we start the realization. We also work on concepts for playing live on stage, but this will take a long, long time. We made clear progress in the preparatory works on our new album. A theme was chosen, all information were collected and the concept is ready, too. We also laid the “foundation stone” for the album with the first recordings. But nevertheless, the completion will take some time, because we have to finish the song texts first, before we tackle the further musical working out. The famous personality or famous personalities the album is about will stay a secret for some time. Besides this revealing there are also some other surprises waiting during the next time. There will be a present for you, soon. But because we are always lay great store on perfection and we want to deliver best quality, you need to be patient for a short time, before we have finished everything. March 2012Although it has become a bit quiet around us, we were never idle. We like trying new things and, from time to time, we like diving in other sound sceneries, so we took part at a Remix-Contest of the first-rate medieval-folk-band Reliquiae. Our Version of their fantastic song "Am Teich" will be published on the EP with the same name together with some very varied versions of other artists. February 2012 - News IIAnd once again, our website has a new face. Not much had changed, but the new navigation now offers more space. Now, our collection of links is clearer arranged and divided in individual fields. While the categories “Radio” and “Magazine” are speaking for themselves, we combined several topics to the rubrics “Literature” and “Music”. The category Literature is not very big, yet, but it contains great pages about themes, which are wildly connected to literature, this means also information about radio dramas, audio books and motion pictures. Whereas you find bands and labels under the category Music, there are also all pages dealing with music, such as portals and communities, information about bands and musical news. Furthermore, we are glad to introduce two music stores, where our CDs were included to the range. This is on the one hand Kill-O-Zap in Nürnberg and on the other the branch of Musicland in Erlangen. There is a large selection of used LPs and CDs available and our CDs are especially cheap. Who can not come to the stores, has the opportunity to look at the homepages and contact them. December 2011 - News IVThe longest night - it begins... Today, the 21.12, it is the longest night of the year - midwinter - and the beginning of the “Rauhnächte”. As already known, today starts our Rauhnacht - ghost-writing - competition. You got time till the last Raunacht, the 6.1.2012 23:59 o'clock, to send us your own, spooky ghost story via email and automatically take part in a CD-raffle. Besides, we want to thank very, very, very cordial for the great help of all, who had supported us energeticly during the last time. Especially nowadays it is nice to know, that there are still people, doing things for the fun of it, for kindness and helpfulness for other people. December 2011 - News IIRauhnacht - Ghost Stories - Competition On the occasion of the release of our Album “1816 - a psychedelic dark wave opera”, which is about the legendary meeting of poets at the Lake Geneva, where Lord Byron started a competition in writing ghost stories, we want to do the same as the great poets. As we had not have a spoilt summer like 1816, we took the time of the “Rauhnächte“ between midwinter and epiphany as occasion to invite you to a competition. At this time, especially on New Year's Eve, the doors to the world of ghosts are open. The souls of the dead and the ghosts walk on earth. Your exercise will be writing a short ghost story. We do not give you any fences, but we ask for classical spooky stories, so please no Science-Fiction or similar. All stories sent in via email together with your name between 21.12.20011 0:00 o'clock and 6.1.2012 23:59 o'clock , will be shown on our site, of course only one per participant. We only keep the right not to publish pornographic, extremist, inhuman, violence glorifying and plagiarizing works. If you take part, you guarantee, that you have the copy right and that you give us the not exclusive right to publish the story and the name of the writer solely on our website. (Not exclusive means, you permit us to publish the story here but reserve all rights.) The three best stories, chosen of us, get following prices: 1. German Doom metal of best quality reminding on the classics of this sector and rising above the current doom metal scene by an artistic and experimental manner, this might be the best description of the style of Cosmic Wasteland. April 2011The work on an new album began. The foundation stone was laid, a new idea was born and now a very long time lies before us, which will lead us first deeper and deeper in the life and the works of someone else and later to new musical dimensions and other realms of sounds. It is to early to tell too much. Only that much should be said: This project will be the finale our long-planed trilogy about writers, thinkers and poets, who reached gloomy, spooky worlds by opium and enormous intellectuality. The last one will be one of the greatest writers of the 19th century, who became famous all over the world by his oppressive stories and fascinating poems and who still inspires current horror authors. |

September 2010We worked on our new album since march 2010. After uncountable studio hours and long nightly work the recordings could be finished successfully in August. At the moment we still work at the Mastering. The album has a length of almost 2,5 hour and deals with the fateful, icecold summer 1816. It is a free, artistic interpretation of the incidences, which happened between April and June of the year 1816 to a small group of poets in the villa Diodati at Lake Geneva. It portrays a musically pictured journey through the spoilt summer, where thunderstorms were raging, and through the souls of the protagonists, which were overtaken after years by an awful fate. Lord Byron, who lived exiled in Suisse with his personal physician Dr. Polidori during this time, welcomed Mary Godwin, Percey Shelley und Claire Clairemont to nights born from nightmares. Out of their competition in writing ghost stories there walked two bogeys still living in the fantasy of human beings. Together with “Confessions”, our musical version of the biography of Thomay De Quincey, this is in our opinion one of our best Albums, which we watch full of pride. |
